I went to this restaurant and it was really great. If you like fish you won't be disappointed. The salmon was excellent. My friend had a burger that he said was very good. Service was great. We will definitely be back soon.

We ordered in from this restaurant and we were thrilled at the result. We both ordered the Grilled Pork Chop with Mashed potato and Wild Mushroom Sauce. The one down side I'll get out right up front, we did not receive the mashed potatoes, but instead received asparagus with our meals. Which I happen not to like. We called and they stated they were out of the potatoes, which would have been nice to know, and to have been able to pick another side. This is the only reason I didn't give them 5 Stars. There was no other salad or such with the meal. Anyway, let's get back to that Chop. It was delicious!! Cooked perfectly. But the best part was the wild mushroom gravy!! It was beyond!! Paired with the chop it was perfection! I will certainly eat this meal again, hopefully with the mashed potatoes. (Also, I haven't tried it yet, but the Short rib sounds amazing) BTW, the delivery was super quick!! I'd recommend this location.

The Ribbon has always been one of my favorite local places despite its expensive price tag. The vibe is hip with a great bar and comfortable dining room. It's a great spot to pop in for snacks like their deviled eggs or oysters. They're known for their fried chicken so of course the beau was all over that and it didn't disappoint. The oysters were Blue Point and the perfect size for this finicky oyster eater. I loved the big chunks of bacon in the wedge salad too. Our server was very attentive and the pace of the food was great. We had a great time and enjoyed everything

Khalil is an amazing manager. He makes this the neighborhood go to spot with his wonderful professionalism. Jesus and Michael behind the bar always greet us with a smile and know our drinks. Fantastic happy hour menu, great vibe and wonderful service every time.

10/10!! The food was sooo delicious!!! The service was great and the place had really chill vibes. I'll definitely be back here soon!

What a great find! The food was was delicious and our waiter was great. We got braised short ribs which were tender and delicious, fried chicken which was so flavorful, and an enjoyable fried chicken sandwich. We had sides of mashed potatoes, french fries, and macaroni and cheese. So good! I can taste it again as I write this review. We were so pleasantly surprised as we were looking for an open restaurant around 8:30 pm. When I called, the hostess gave the impression that they were closing soon (although they close at 10:00 pm). We went anyway. The place was nearly empty when we arrived but we were welcomed in, so all worked out. I'd go back any day.

There's so many places to eat on the UWS that we love, and I think we've found The Ribbon will be added to that list. Had a couple of Guinness with a nice cheese plate. Danish Blue, English Cheddar and a French Brie. Delicious. Wife had the fried chicken with a Wedge salad and I had the pork chop as the main courses. Fried chicken was moist, crispy and spiced well. Pork was tender served with a great potato au gratin and grilled asparagus. Wait staff was on point. First time here, won't be the last.

I've been wanting to try The Ribbon for a while, and we finally were able to grab dinner here on a Friday night. Making reservations is highly recommended because it was pretty crowded. We only had a short wait, but we arrived a few minutes earlier than our reservation, so that made complete sense. We selected items from the Restaurant Week menu and then added on drinks. Everything was clean (including the restroom), the waiter, hosts and wait staff were friendly and the food was good. Some items I liked more than others, but that was just personal preference. The endive salad was interesting. Not bad, but nothing I would run to. It was something that was just different. I didn't get to try the churros, but it was because they were seemingly so good, lol. The drinks were great! I had the pineapple mule, and it was right on point! The fried chicken, delicious! I had extra honey, so I loved it. I love very crunchy chicken, so mine was fixed just right. The cardamom rice pudding was very strong. I mean, the cardamom really was the star of the pudding, and the toasted coconut was fighting for its chance to shine. I was happy I tried it, but I would try a different dessert in the future. I would definitely return throughout the year and try other food and drink items.
